About the program

The Production Engineering program sought to excel and be able to compete locally and regionally in the scientific and research fields and interact with the challenges and issues of society and the development of its resources by providing applied scientific research to achieve the vision of the Sustainable Development Plan

It qualifies the student scientifically with an integrated set of basic courses (mathematics, mechanics, computer science, etc.) and specialized courses (production engineering, computer mechanical drawing, machine theory, materials engineering, machine parts, workshop machinery design, measurements and control, etc.) and qualifies him practically and technically with various types of training with the aim of preparing a distinguished graduate that suits the needs of the labor market.

Enrollment Requirements for Bachelor's Degree

- The department accepts successful students in the preparatory division if they pass all the courses of the two semesters of that division or if they fail or have excused absences in no more than two courses.

- A split course in the preparatory division is considered a single course, whether the student fails it as a result of failing one part or failing both parts. If the student fails in the total sum of the two parts of the course (with two parts), he takes an examination in the part of the course in which he failed with the students of the group in which this part is taught, and the grade of this part is added to the grade of the previous part in which he succeeded, and the total grade he obtains is calculated according to what is detailed in Article (17) of the internal regulations for the bachelor's stage, and his success in this case is considered an acceptable grade.

- This admission comes after the student passes the internal coordination stage at the college to select departments.
