About the Mechatronics Engineering Program

Achieving leadership in the field of engineering higher education and gaining the confidence of the local and regional community in the program's graduates.

The program seeks to provide teaching and learning resources in the field of mechatronics and the application of total quality in a correct scientific framework in order to prepare distinguished engineers who are competent and qualified from a scientific, practical, professional and research point of view to meet the labor market

It qualifies the student scientifically with an integrated set of basic courses (mathematics, mechanics, computer science, etc.) and specialized courses (electronic engineering, computer manufacturing, logic circuits and microprocessors, electromechanical equipment, automatic control techniques, robot dynamics, etc.) and qualifies him practically and technically with various types of training in order to prepare a distinguished graduate to suit the needs of the labor market.

Designing and developing industrial robots (in automotive, food, and pharmaceutical factories).

Working in the field of medical robotics (e.g. surgical robots, smart prosthetics).

Automotive and smart vehicle industry
Designing systems for Autonomous Vehicles.

Developing electronic control systems in cars (e.g. ABS, smart suspension systems).

Smart Manufacturing and Machinery
Designing industrial automation systems in factories (e.g. cement, petrochemical factories).

Development of automated packaging systems in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Enrollment Requirements for Bachelor's Degree

The department accepts successful students in the preparatory division if they succeed in all the courses of the two semesters of that division or if they fail or have excused absences in no more than two courses.

For the Mechanical Engineering Department, students transferred to the third year are distributed to the educational programs (Mechatronics - Industrial - Production). The distribution is done according to the total sum of the student's grades and the ratios determined by the Mechanical Engineering Department Council
