About the program
The Communications and Information Engineering program is one of the unique and distinguished programs at Helwan College of Engineering, which aims to prepare graduates equipped with scientific and practical knowledge and expertise that make them able to keep pace with the rapid progress in the field of communications and information technology systems and creativity in developing these systems, allowing them to work in the largest communications and information technology companies and smart systems at the level of Egypt and the world. The program is an international program prepared in cooperation between Helwan University and UNINETTUNO University in Italy, which is accredited by the European Union, giving graduates two certificates, one from Helwan University and the other from UNINETTUNO University in Italy, if requested by the learner.
All courses for the program are prepared by international specialists in addition to Helwan University professors, and Italian university professors participate in the development of exams, which are conducted in cooperation between the Egyptian and Italian sides, and the Italian side provides some grants for students of the program. The program is also distinguished by the fact that it links a group of different scientific disciplines and the student can easily determine the exact specialization he/she wants from among computer and software engineering or communications and electronics by choosing a set of specialized courses that he/she wants to study. The program also works to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills that make them capable of self-learning through:
Utilizing modern technology in the teaching and learning process in the field of communication and information engineering for the bachelor's degree.
Providing students with the mathematical concepts, knowledge and basic sciences that enable them to grasp the advanced theories and concepts in the field of communication and information engineering.
Providing students with the concepts of engineering economics, project management, and environmental conservation.
Providing learners with methods of designing and building digital control and automation systems.
Providing learners with the knowledge and skills to design and develop various artificial intelligence systems.
Providing graduates with the methods of designing and developing various information and communication systems.
