*Inauguration of the project to rehabilitate and upgrade the infrastructure and equipment of the 200th floor of the Faculty of Engineering in Helwan
Dr. El Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, inaugurated the project to rehabilitate and upgrade the infrastructure and equipment of the 200th floor of the Communications Engineering Building at the Faculty of Engineering in Helwan, accompanied by Dr. Mahmoud El Maslawy, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Helwan
The inauguration was attended by Dr. Hossam Rifai and Dr. Emad Aboueldahab, vice presidents of the university, in addition to the college's vice deans and heads of scientific departments and Mohamed Abou Shoka, the university's secretary general.
Dr. Kandil stated that this project comes within the framework of the university's plan to develop its facilities, pointing out that the development of the Faculty of Engineering in Helwan is a model to be followed by all faculties of the university. He stressed the university's support for the college to achieve comprehensive development in all fields, including resource development, preparation of administrative and academic cadres, and the development of study programs.
Kandil added that there is a plan to develop scientific and applied research at the college in line with the state's national plan, in addition to serving the surrounding environment and providing engineering consultations, and called for the need to develop international partnerships with the college.
For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Maslawi explained that the university aims to continuously develop and modernize all faculties to provide distinguished educational services in line with the latest local and international standards.
He pointed out that the project included the development of all educational spaces and laboratories, as well as the rooms of faculty members and support staff and special facilities, while providing them with the latest architectural and equipment methods, including sound systems, presentation tools and telecommunications networks to support the educational and research process.
It is worth mentioning that the project was supervised by Dr. Ahmed Salahuddin Mohamed, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, and Dr. Fathi Zaki Amer, a full-time professor at the department, and technical supervision by engineers from the university's Engineering Department.
