Helwan University organizes an introductory seminar in cooperation with the French Embassy

Within the framework of the activities of the International Relations Office at Helwan University in permanent cooperation with various donor bodies, the International Relations Office coordinated an introductory seminar in cooperation with the Embassy of France in Egypt entitled “Applying for Master's and PhD scholarships” funded by the French government.

This comes under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sayed Kandil, President of the University, and Dr. Mona Fouad, Acting Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mayada Bilal, Director of the International Relations Office.

The seminar included clarifying the various types of grants and opportunities offered to faculty members, graduate students and research students to study in French universities, as well as building research teams to conduct research in various fields for the academic year 2022/2023.

The seminar also clarified the conditions required for the various types of grants. In the context of the embassy's support for applicants, Ms. Anis Al-Ghazali, the embassy's grants program officer, announced the presence of a team at the embassy to provide support to find partners from French universities and research centers, while Prof. Dr. Mayada Bilal, Director of the International Relations Office, announced the readiness of the office to provide technical support to those who wish to apply for these grants, and stressed the importance of applying for international grants provided by the French Embassy to provide faculty members and students with multiple experiences and skills that directly reflect on the educational process and their various experiences.
