نبذة عن القسم

هندسة الالكترونيات والاتصالات هو واحد من أهم التخصصات الهندسية نظرا لدوره وتأثيره المباشر في الثورات الصناعية الحديثة بوجه خاص وحياة الشعوب بوجه عام. قسم هندسة الالكترونيات والاتصالات يوفر دراسة النظريات والتكنولوجيات والأنظمة المختلفة لعلوم الالكترونيات والاتصالات. يهدف قسم هندسة الالكترونيات والاتصالات إلى الوصول بمعارف ومهارات خريجي القسم للمنافسة بقوة في سوق العمل محليا وعالميا وأن يتمكن الخريجون المتميزون من الحصول على منح دراسية للماجستير والدكتوراه في الجامعات العالمية المرموقة مثل أقرانهم بجامعاتنا العريقة.

ولكي يتحقق ذلك يسعى القسم دائما إلى التحديث المستمر للائحته الدراسية وأساليب وتقنيات التعليم والتعلم لمواكبة التطور العلمي والتقني. أيضا يعمل القسم على تطوير الجانب العملي من خلال حزمة من المعامل التي تحتوي على أحدث الأجهزة والتجارب وكذلك الورش التكنولوجية كما يهتم القسم بالتدريب الميداني لجميع الطلاب في مواقع مختلفة تثقل المهارات العملية لديهم.

يحرص قسم هندسة الالكترونيات والاتصالات على اتقان طلابه للمهارات الناعمة مثل مهارات العرض وإتقان اللغة الأجنبية باعتبارها من المهارات المطلوبة في سوق العمل. أيضا يعمل القسم على وضع ضوابط لضمان الجودة سواء على مستوى الخريجين أو على مستوى مخرجات البحث العلمي وربطه بالاحتياجات المجتمعية وربط التعليم بالصناعة والتحديث المستمر لهذه الضوابط كلما اقتضى الأمر.
